MKT Innovations hosted their first charity event for Stop Hunger Now. With donations and volunteers from employees, family and friends we were able to put together 10,163 meals for those around the world suffering from extreme poverty.  The meals consist of soy protein, rice, vegetables and 23 essential vitamins and nutrients aimed to help those suffering from malnutrition.

There are 21,000 people dying every day from starvation which equates to one person every four seconds.

The event consisted of five person stations throughout our facility which allowed us to operate as a highly efficient assembly line, packaging 83 meals per minute. With enthusiastic support from 40 volunteers we were able to get the meals bagged, weighed, labeled and boxed in just under two hours.

Stop Hunger Now is driven by the vision of a world without hunger. Their mission is to end hunger in our lifetime by providing life-changing aid to the world’s most vulnerable, creating a global commitment to mobilize the necessary resources.

It was truly amazing to have so many people come together to help try and solve one of the world’s greatest epidemics.
